Unfunny Cartoons
How's this for a side-splitter:
This is the work of Steve Benson of the Arizona Republic. Like some others in the media who ought to be boiled in oil, he has won a Pulitzer Prize for his work. If the cartoon above cracks you up so much that you want to give the folks at Benson's paper some feedback on how funny he is, you can send them a letter right here.
We don't yet know if there's any real fire beneath the smoke the media has been generating over Haditha. But that makes no difference to moonbats of Benson's caliber. Malign the Marines first, ask questions never. If the objective is to express moronically simplistic left-wing conceits in the crudest way possible, Benson certainly deserves his Pulitzer. If not, the guy is downright cartoonish.
At least America isn't the only place where liberal cartoonists have given up even a pretense at humor. Here are a couple of examples from Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung, via Davids Medienkritik:
Gut busters, aren't they? When you're done laughing, be sure to savor the subtle nuance of their sophisticated weltanschauung.
Getting back to the Arizona Repugnant, Arizonans might want to take the advice often given by KFYI's Bruce Jacobs: "Leave the Rag on the rack."

Too bad asshats like this clown were in the World Trade Center on the morning of 9-11-01.
Where are the cartoons of the terrorists car bombing market places, selling half price flour from the back of truck bomb before it goes off, the beheadings, ect?
Those are far more common place than the few attrocities committed by coalition troops. World War 2 probably had a much higher rate of attrocities that were never reported in the media.
If the killings in Haditha are found to be cold blooded murder then by all means sentence them to life imprisonment with hard labor. Of course 99.9% of U.S. forces act responsibly but that is never highlighted by the press. Where are the stories of all the good things theyve done? Schools, power plants, hospitals, roads, bridges built? Just goes to show where the loyalty of the majority of the media "lies".
Until bombs start going off in America and people start dying, clown like this will continue to spew their hatred of America. Good thing we didnt have too many people like this during WW II or the Nazis would be running Europe, Middle East, Western Asia and North Africa ... and the Japs would be running East Asia, the Pacific and Australia.

General, judging by the way people have reacted on this side of the atlantic in the wake of several bombings and bomb plots - not to mention, for instance, the BBC's craven painting of the IRA saints and angels, which rather set a precedent for their treatement of Islamic terrorists - I doubt even coming face to face with their "poor oppressed" jihadists in all their murderous glory would convince them of the error of their ways.
