LA Hosts Tinfoil Hat Festival
Over the weekend 1,200 paranoid schizophrenics gathered at a hotel in Los Angeles to indulge in bizarre fantasies based on the premise that President Bush was behind the attacks of September 11. Cried radio talk show host Alex Jones:
There are so many prominent people who are incredibly well-respected who have stated that the evidence is overwhelming that 9/11 was an inside job.
Unfortunately he seems not to have named any of them.
It would have added to the organizers' credibility if they had asked W himself to speak at their kookfest. He might have given a presentation along these lines (via Knowledge Is Power, on a tip from V the K):

I believe every word of it. It is, after all, a common U.S. government tactic. For example, FDR cut a deal with Winston Churchill in 1941 for the Royal Navy, masquerading as Imperial Japanese Forces, to launch a devastating attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor. This was done because the racist American government wanted to use nuclear weapons against a non-white race so they could establish global hegemony. Fortunately the Soviet Union developed their own nuclear weapons completely independently through peaceful Socialist science and were thus able to sheild Eastern Europe and some emerging Third World nations from American imperialism.

You know, that cartoon unintentionally paints an accurate portrait of how ridiculous the whole "Bush was behind 9/11" conspiracy is.

They still can't make up their minds whether Bush is stupid or a genius, eh?

"Unfortunately he seems not to have named any of them."
Actually he has, numerous times. You may want to actually check his websites at:

You mean like Charlie Sheen? But he said "well-respected."
