And This Child Molester Won't Be Punished Because...
Ready for the latest excuse for not punishing a child molester? Here it is: District Judge Kristine Cecava of Sidney, Nebraska announced that Richard W. Thompson, a 50-year-old convicted of sexually assaulting a child, should not serve time because he's too short.
The 5' 1'' fiend will be doing probation instead, out of concern that other prisoners might pick on him.
But mind you, probation is no joke. If Thompson doesn't lay off raping or even being alone with children, he's subject to 30 days of jail each year of his probation. Plus he's supposed to throw out his porno collection.
Said the judge:
I truly hope that my bet on you being okay out in society is not misplaced.
The kids Thompson might rape better hope so too. They have a lot more to lose than Judge Kristine does if her bet doesn't pay off.

Oh My God. The so called judge should have her license yanked. Please someone check her old cases and see how many monsters she has been lenient with..She should find out if any of them live close to her grandchildren and see if she feels the same way..All judges should be held accountable and so should the public if we let this continue.. thank you

The judge made this ruling because she must take his safety into consideration. The punishment must fit the crime so if he probably will be brutalised and severly beaten THAT is not what the people of the state doled as punishment, not what the prisioners feel fit.
