No Regrets for Those Who Leave Taxachusetts

Someone forgot to build a wall around the People's Republic of Massachusetts. Those who have escaped are glad they did, according to a survey by the Boston Globe, which reports that 73% now live in a bigger home, 54% have a higher standard of living, and 69% find people more courteous in their new state. Only 37% said they would like to move back to the land of Hanoi John Kerry and Chappaquiddick Ted one day.

It seems that the liberal elite ideology so prevalent in Massachusetts doesn't result in a society that normal people want to live in. As the Globe puts it:

The findings underscored the difficulties of living, raising children, and earning enough money in Massachusetts, and suggested that these fundamental aspirations of the American middle-class are often easier for people to achieve outside the state.

Almost a quarter of a million people have bailed out of the Bay State between 2000 and 2005. The only state losing residents faster is the comparatively left-leaning New York.

Let's just hope that as people run away from the dysfunctional wreck liberalism is making of the Northeast, they don't bring their voting habits with them.

If you think Mass is bad, just wait till Spitzer becomes NY's governor. New York is finished. It is hemorrhaging money, population, and energy; it is the France of the United States. No one can afford to live here except those on the dole.

The problem is that the prime export of NY and Mass (since all industry long ago was chased away by high taxes, socialist workers comp laws, and wasteful bureaucracy) is Moonbattery; Moonbat northeasterners are now polluting the southeast and southwest.

Lemme tell ya, they all move to Atlanta, and start telling us how stupid we are. We call 'em commies, and get out of our politics and home owners associations. Yankee Fucks. On a related note, I'm remembering all of the hootin and hollerin about our difficulties in the south last year with the hurricanes. Seems we were getting what we deserved what with not loving democrats and all. How's that flooding coming scumbags? Hope you all lose your properties.

Moonbat Boston College Prof Resigns Over Condi Rice Speech

Our next door neighbors in South Carolina were from Massachusetts. The husband was all right, but the wife... shrill moonbat all the way.

Please don't let these frothing moonbats come to Texas. Course I don't think they'd get along very well here.
