Murtha Exploits Alleged Massacre

Moonbat Jack Murtha has hit yet another new low by exploiting the tragic story of American Marines alleged to have deliberately killed civilians in Iraq.

Bellowed Moonbat Jack:

There was no firefight, there was no IED (improvised explosive device) that killed these innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.

You read that correctly: the Marines overreacted in cold blood. Murtha also saw fit to inform us that the incident was "much worse than reported in Time magazine." On Chris Matthews' program, when Tweety asked if the incident was comparable to the infamous My Lai massacre in Vietnam, Murtha enthusiastically pounced with "That's exactly it."

Since Murtha was presumably not present at the event, which is still under investigation, it's unclear how he comes by his knowledge. What is clear is that regardless of what happened, he will say anything that gains him fawning attention from the liberal media at the expense of our troops' morale.
