Moonbat Jack Still At It
The Moonbat Jack Murtha Show no longer inspires the media hype it once did, but like an aging pop star who continues to tour based on one lousy song that once snuck onto the charts, the Pennsylvania Democrat keeps on keeping on, most recently disgracing himself at Seton Hill University, where he used a commencement speech as an opportunity to preach his gospel that the USA should tuck its tail between its legs and "redeploy" to someplace with fewer terrorists than Iraq.
Having made himself famous with his willingness to stab his country and specifically the men and women fighting to defend it in the back to generate favorable attention from a media heavily invested in America's defeat, Murtha attempted to portray himself as a lawmaker who would rather work quietly behind the scenes, if only the President hadn't raised his ire by not taking him seriously enough.
Moonbats in the audience gave him a standing ovation. Others weren't so pleased.
"We don't care. This isn't about graduation," the parent of a graduate called out from the audience.
Said graduate Mike Whiteman, "I don't think it was appropriate. This is about graduation, not agenda-setting."
Murtha should talk to his agent about finding more relevant venues. Maybe he could warm up for Cindy Sheehan's next publicity stunt.

Just another opinion. Jack has used the legless(DAV) as a platform,so to speak.
Somebody will ambush him, unless he dies on us.

It's not fair to foist oneself upon a captive audience that has no choice but to sit in silence tied to their chairs and not have the opportunity to respond. Sounds like Murtha was practicing a ploy right out of the Commie handbook, so how DARE he make that crack about "this is America, not Russia".
Must have gotten the purple hearts for a lethal head wound.
Graduation speeches are for the GRADUATES, not some opp to spew out personal agendas and political stances. As though Murtha hadn't enough opp to do both previously. It doesn't matter whether one agrees with our mission in Iraq or not. That wasn't the point. It's a matter of time and place.
Thanks Geoff, you're a real man. Do us a favor. Run for office.
