Madeleine Albright Condemns Bush's Christian Notions

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, a disturbing remnant from the Carter and Clinton regimes who serves as a living reminder as to why Democrats should never be allowed in the White House, has been in London pitching a book and bashing the current administration in front of a foreign audience.

While it would be unheard of for a Republican to behave in such a contemptible manner, it is by now to be expected of Democrats. What you might not expect is the nature of Albright's criticisms. The problem with America's president, Albright inveighs, is that he takes Christianity too seriously, which not only alienates Muslims but leads to a "rigid" distinction between good and evil.

Of the presidents under which Albright served, she boasts that "they did not make their religious views part of American policy." Certainly no one would accuse Clinton of that, assuming that he ever had any religious views.

Islamist propagandists aver that America is waging a religious crusade against Islam. Always the adroit international strategist, Albright plays into their hands by characterizing President Bush as a religious fanatic who thinks he's on a mission from God.

Albright also helped to shore up support from our British ally by croaking that the war in Iraq "may eventually rank among the worst foreign policy disasters in U.S. history."

Despite her denunciation of Bush for letting theocratic notions like right and wrong influence his political views, it seems possible that Albright's own religious views have shaped her political outlook. When asked about her own beliefs, she said that she had "a very confused religious background."

Apparently, Ms. "no-bright" hasn't been paying attention.

Mr. Bush has on more than one occasion made the heretic statement that Islam, Jews and Christians worship "the same god". No real Christian would ever make such a false and stupid claim.

Allah the moon god isn't anyone's creator...unless he can claim to have sired "moonbats". (yeah that's it)

Albright ignores the facts. Politics as usual...lies and more lies to further one's personal agenda. Yep. Her religious "confusion" has molded her character and her life. An unfortunate waste of protoplasm methinks...

Like many left-liberals, what passes for religious tolerance is "it's okay to sort of believe in religion as long as you don't take it seriously."

The real religion of Madeleine Albright and the Left is Socialism. That they still cling to their socialist utopia after its repeated failures can only be explained by supernatural delusion. Ditto environmentalism.

Oh, and VtK's Tip of the Day: ACLU Seeks to Silence ACLU:

The American Civil Liberties Union is weighing new standards that would discourage its board members from publicly criticizing the organization's policies and internal administration.

"Where an individual director disagrees with a board position on matters of civil liberties policy, the director should refrain from publicly highlighting the fact of such disagreement," the committee that compiled the standards wrote in its proposals.

"Directors should remember that there is always a material prospect that public airing of the disagreement will affect the A.C.L.U. adversely in terms of public support and fund-raising," the proposals state.

No crticism of the regime shall be permitted. Classic communism.

Stop exposing my evil pawns!

Tak.

How dare the President espouse anything he believes! What utter gall! Only the Clintons and Carters are allowed to talk about their beliefs - or stunning lack thereof! - and base public decisions on them.

Damn those stinkin' Christians! Trying to force thier beliefs down our throats while we are forcing our beliefs down thier throats! Bastards!

"...the man who stole her heart."

She never had one to begin with. Crypto-commie.

There's nothing crypto about it these days.

I agree with you that Ms. Notbright is dead wrong for suggesting that religious beliefs should play no part in political decisions. Anyone who believes this has no idea what's in store for them come Judgment Day. Jesus certainly does care what your politics are, and He's wiretapping way more than just your phone calls.

Do not be fooled into thinking, however, that because such a Godless woman criticizes the President, that he is a righteous Christian. Make no mistake: Pontius W. Pilate is in league with the Devil's Vatican Hireling in their Satanic plot to install the New World Order. Of course, the War on Terrorism, and the War in Iraq, are simply parts of that larger plan. True Christians will not be fooled. "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." (Matthew 7:20)

Riiiiiight.

And Islam has nothing to do with terrorism or the effort to eradicate Christianity--aside from the heathen idol worshiping leftists.

Tell that to Charlemagne and Pope Leo III.

You know nothing of history, you slobbering bible thumping cretin.

I don't think he knows much about his bible either. The words, certainly, but not the meaning behind them.

Is it just me, or does it seem to you that women involved in the political far left become stunningly ugly as they grow old? Maybe it has something to do with temperament; even when they're smiling they look like they're scowling.

I agree. Helen Thomas, Cindy Sheehan, Albright...all grotesquely ugly.

Posted by: nikko at May 25, 2006 12:25 PM

No, Nikko. not grotesquely ugly. grotesque has overtones of interesting. A bulldog is grotesque. The three you mention, and their sisters, are simply the kind of ugly you get from a lifetime of self-indulgence, self-loathing, and throwing snits. Fat, deep frown and scowl lines, and (often) hair and makeup heavily styled in unflattering ways.... because nobody dares tell them.

Hideous yes, grotesque (and therefore interesting) no.
