Hijacking Pays
In February 2000, nine Afghans hijacked a 727 and ordered it flown to Britain, where after a 70-hour standoff they surrendered to police. They were jailed at first, but then their convictions were overturned. The Home Office tried and failed to have them deported. The criminals and their families were allowed to stay, although they were not officially granted full refugee status, because the Home Secretary didn't want to make it official that Britain encourages hijacking.
Now the High Court has ruled that the Home Secretary exceeded his authority by not recognizing the hijackers' right to demand British citizenship. A judge declared that the Home Office has to pay legal costs on an indemnity basis (at the highest level possible), signifying his "disquiet and concern."
The hijackers can continue to avail themselves of Britain's lavish welfare handouts indefinitely. All nine of them and 25 family members have been living in rent-free housing in west London, and get a paycheck from the government for doing nothing.
But there is another side to the story. According to Queen's Counsel Rabinder Singh, the poor hijackers have had "a torrid time" sponging off British taxpayers, and suffer from stress and anxiety-related ailments.
In monetary terms, this fiasco has already cost as much as £30 million. But it's hard to put a price on sanctimonious liberal fools methodically dismantling a formerly great civilization.

This started when successive governments refused to address the issue of immigration, and how it had become an EU "competence", meaning they had ceeded the right to defend our borders to an unelected government across the sea. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.
I think I know how you lot felt, now...

How much do you want ot bet the result would have been different if the hijackers were not members of a designated victim group.
