Castro Worth $900 Million
Who says socialism invariably leads to poverty? Actually, it can lead to great economic success — provided you're running the show. Forbes estimates socialist dictator Fidel Castro's wealth at $900 million.
Castro's wealth comes mainly from state-owned companies. Under capitalism, large companies tend to be owned by those who buy stock in them, i.e., the people. Socialism, however, allows one thug and his cronies to own pretty much everything, leaving everyone else to struggle for survival. The term for this in Hollywood and on college campuses is "social justice."
No wonder Castro had his own hospital built a few yards from his front door. With that kind of cash, you hardly expect him to settle for socialized medicine.

Linked, top post. I'd previously noted that the average wage in Cuba is about $14.20 a month - would that make Castro worth almost as much as the rest of his country combined?

Ahhhhh, Socialized Medicine indeed. Let the good times roll and let's ship all the Libs to Cuba when they need to be hospitalized.
