More Mad Mullah Missiles
The mad mullahs in Iran are pounding their chests again, this time over a "top secret" missile they call an "ultra-horizon" weapon, which supposedly constitutes a "turning point" in their missile tests. They've also been testing a new surface-to-sea missile called the Kowsar.
Growls General Yahya Rahim Safavi of the Revolutionary Guards:
The Straits of Hormuz are a point of control and economic pressure on the energy transfer route for those foreign powers that might want to undermine regional security.
Forty percent of the world's oil supply travels through the Straits of Hormuz. This, together with their blossoming nuclear weapons program, explains the ayatollahs' avid interest in missile technology.
Another missile, the Fajr-3, can allegedly avoid radar and hit several targets simultaneously. Iran has also been testing new torpedoes and a "super-modern flying boat," also capable of evading radar.
Iranian rulers have "been known to boast and exaggerate their statements about greater technical and tactical capabilities," according to Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman. All the same, it doesn't seem wise to leave it up to the corrupt bunglers at the U.N. to determine whether Iran will have nuclear weapons to deliver with their missiles.

That is an old picture and they are Iraqis and not Iranians. That's from Saddam's time. Still the point is valid. These people collectively have not managed to develop technology themselves (name one Middle Eastern Car/ Computer/ Television set/ Stereo etc etc etc???????). They have been catapaulted into the C20th from the Middle Ages, by modern technology and transport, but, as is evident here, they are still in the C14th. They buy top stuff, but they ain't got the know how!

Their socalled underwater rocket is basically an ordinary torpedo with a rocket attached to the end, which drops off and the torpedo propeller takes over. Similar to a cruise missile. It looks impressive but thats about it.
Their multiple warhead missile is similar to cluster bomb technology, except its on top of a missile instead of being dropped by a bomber.
As for that flying boat, its a rip-off of the AVRO air car the US military toyed with in the early 1950s.
