Islamothug Attacks Repelled
Good news: Aaron's cc is back online. It appears to have been the target of a pair of denial of service attacks on Friday that originated in Saudi Arabia. The attacks temporarily took down some behemoths of the blogosphere, including Little Green Footballs, Power Line, Instapundit, Hugh Hewitt, Captain's Quarters, and The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler; Moonbattery was also affected (sorry about the downtime).
Not that we needed it, but this is yet another reminder that civilization is at war with Islam, has been for centuries, and will continue to be until one or the other is destroyed. Whether by Internet sabotage, terrorism, developing nuclear weapons, or simply exploiting the willful dhimmitude of the politically correct weenies who infest the State Department, the United Nations, and the European Union, Muslims will stifle us any way they can.
If there's one thing Western Civilization stands for, it's intellectual freedom, which means freedom of expression. When we let the followers of the evil death cult known as Islam bully us into giving it up, the war will be over and we will have lost.
All the same, I wouldn't want to offend any Saudis, since they are our "allies" in the War on Terror and since — due to moonbats having suppressed drilling in our own country — we need to keep pouring money into their pockets in exchange for their oil. So I'll be very sure not to post any of inflammatory pictures like the ones Aaron has been putting up. Like this one:

I look at that second image, and I hear the theme from I Dream of Jeannie.
Someone should up the cartoon jihad ante by doing an animation to that effect, a la the "dancing baby" thing from several years back.
