Taxpayers in the land of Jerry "Spaceman" Brown will be financing a posh lifestyle for one Randy Murphy, who sued Oakland in federal court over injuries he inflicted on himself while fleeing from police. While running away from the cops, Murphy jumped over a fence and managed to land on his head, injuring his spine.
The city council approved a settlement of $1,500,000. In the upside-down world of moonbattery, crime pays well.
