Vermont Town Impeaches the President
Apparently the Presidency of George W. Bush will be coming to an abrupt end. The town of Newfane, Vermont has voted to remove him from office.
It took the town almost half an hour to decide that democracy just didn't work out in this country. Our elected President will accordingly have to step aside in deference to the superior wisdom of Vermont residents.
Even in enlightened Vermont, W has some supporters. Said Lenore Salzbrun, whose close friends died on 9/11, "I am so grateful that our president didn't just put his head in the sand ... and did go out and fight."
But dissenters where easily overwhelmed in a 121–29 tide of moonbattery.
Look for Newfane's next vote to install Howard Dean as Ruler of the Universe.

This is so very normal for libs. I'm sure they had some goofy charges about crimes against humanity. It's a meaningless, mock vote. Why waste taxpayer's money on something that is so obviously partisan and so completely unenforceable?
And if they're going to have this mock vote that doesn't do any good other than to give them a sense of release, why not go after actual war criminals who are in abundance in this world? Why not go after someone who has actually been INDICTED on something? And why not have a mock vote on Saddam? Oh right, they'd all vote to put him back in power.

Hahaha! Here's my prediction. A bunch of moonbat anarchists will run around breaking things while the rest of the world looks on and shakes it's head. Then when it's all over they will have accomplished nothing more than breaking a bunch of stuff and making themselves look back....later they'll all head back to the redwoods to smoke somemore hash.

And what the heck is he bringing Schiavo into this for? Polls showed little if no correlation between politics and position on taking her off life support. Maybe it IS time to split up the country. Give the moonbats Mass, Cali, maybe Seattle, Detroit, Cleveland--everywhere that reliably votes far-left. Let them run it according to their beliefs. If they could defend themselves from terrorist attacks (doubtful) and actually survive for a number of years, we could compare how they are doing with "true-blue" America. Might be very enlightening for the poor bastards.
