Setback for PC Bean-Counters

Prospects may not be as bleak as they seemed for white guys who would like to be police officers in Avon and Somerset, England. The local police department threw out about 200 applications on the grounds that Caucasian males are "over-represented," but one of them struck back with the Left's own favorite weapon, the lawsuit.

Having reached a settlement with the rejected applicant who lawyered up, the force is now subject to claims by all the rest who were rejected for not being born of a politically correct race or gender. The taxpayer of course will get to foot the bill for whatever they are awarded.

Thankfully, the race- and gender-based bean-counting policy has now been scrapped.
