Profiles in Moonbattery: Cynthia McKinney
Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA), the same one who shares Charlie Sheen's opinion that President Bush was behind 9/11, made the news yesterday by punching a member of the U.S. Capitol Police for expecting her to go through a metal detector at the Longworth House Office Building on Capitol Hill.
As a spokesman for House Speaker Denny Hastert observed:
On a day when the Democrats are promoting their national security agenda, it's probably not a good idea for them to allegedly strike police officers.
McKinney has had trouble with Capitol Hill security before. Naturally, she suspects them of racism. Slate reported back in 2002:
In August 1993, during her first term in office, a Capitol Hill police officer tried to prevent her from bypassing a metal detector, as members of Congress are allowed to do. For years afterward, The Hill reports, the Capitol Police pinned a picture of McKinney to an office wall, warning officers to learn her face because she refuses to wear her member's pin. (And because officers are innately suspicious of a black woman with braided hair and gold shoes.)
McKinney is probably best known for groveling in an attempt to lay her paws on the $10 million that Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal offered to New York in the aftermath of 9/11. Rudy Giuliani had rejected the money because it came attached to the prince's view that America had brought 9/11 on itself.
She has also distinguished herself by being one of only six representatives to vote against a measure commemorating the fourth anniversary of 9/11, and one of only three to vote yes when Republicans called Moonbat Jack Murtha's bluff and put his call for immediate withdrawal from Iraq up for a vote.
Among McKinney's legislative accomplishments is the recent introduction of a bill "to provide for the expeditious disclosure of records relevant to the life and death of Tupac Amaru Shakur," the infamous rap thug. The bill has no cosponsors.

Shrill harpy.

The Left's already asserting that the cop assaulted her, rather than visa versa. And the MSM's trying to treat it as a non-event, stating it "allegedly" happened and that nobody they've talked to gives a damn.
Suppose tomorrow, Bill Frist slugged a cop in the Capital building. Would it be an "alleged" event? Would it be a non-event that the MSM would bury? Or would it be a major news story for a week, with demands by the Dems for a formal apology, the video being replayed day after day, and the MSM portraying the GOP as a party of violent hot-heads?

OT:
Well folks, so much for Obama in 2008...
Obama Rallies Conn. Democrats, Throws Support To Lieberman
HARTFORD, Conn. -- U.S. Sen. Barack Obama rallied Connecticut Democrats at their annual dinner Thursday night, throwing his support behind mentor and Senate colleague Joe Lieberman.Obama, an Illinois Democrat who is considered a rising star in the party, was the keynote speaker at the annual Jefferson Jackson Bailey Dinner.
Lieberman, Connecticut's junior senator, is under fire from some liberal Democrats for his support of the Iraq War. He was key in booking Obama, who routinely receives more than 200 speaking invitations each week. Some at Thursday's dinner said that while they were pleased with Lieberman's success in bringing Obama to Connecticut, they still consider Lieberman uncomfortably tolerant of the Bush administration.

Anyone from GA want to weigh in on why this person has been reelected to Congress?

Queen Cynthia's district is very black and has much resident moonbattery. I'm in the minority. I have no representation in Congress. She panders to the minorities and blacks and on the street which bears her name, Cynthia McKinney Blvd. There is The Tupac Shakur Center for the Performing Arts. And yes today, like many other days on her street there was a stabbing at a shopping center.

I kid you not! That'a like having a Jeffery Dahmer Center for Brain Sciences! I believe our wonderful Gov't had a lot of funding for this Gangsta training school. Google it and see!

One thing I am confused about is, aren't Congressmen & Senators immune from arrest & such while Congress is in session?
Posted by: ex-expat at March 31, 2006 3:37 PM
To Bryherb
Wasn't there a "Stop Mckinney" website up at around the time of the elction she lost (2000?) Maybe they ought to crank it back up. Too bad the person who beat her decided to go on to other things and leave the seat open for McKinney to slither back into.
Posted by: ex-expat at March 31, 2006 3:42 PM
Yes there was, that was when Denise Majette took her seat in Congress for those 2 years, Majette beat out McKinney in the Dem primary. I registered as a Dem so I could vote against McKinney. I'm still a registered Dem. After that loss Mckinney's daddy said in the news that it is all a conspiracy from The Jews....J-E-W-S...of course he got a free pass on that racial slur. Mckinney's daddy at one time threatened a fellow politician with a knife when he was in office back in his day. I guess anger management, or lack thereof, runs in the family. I can't wait for election time here in Georgia. I'm gonna make a lifesize model of Bin Laden and have it holding a re-elect Cynthia sign and put it in my front yard. You guys might wanna note how many donations from Arab folks Mckinney got right after 9/11. Here's her rap sheet:

Van,
Great photoshop job. I'd suggest a little river of drool coming from the corner of her vile stinking cake hole.

Doug, I can't take credit for the photoshop; Wiggins sent it along.

She's from Dekalb county, and like Bryherb says, it's a pretty sad and run down place. Formerly that heart of bustling suburbia, it's now a no go zone. She and her father are unbelievably hate filled bigots, especially the joooos, god knows their the evil ones. One of her favorite past times on vacation is to pick sugar cane in Cuba for Fidel. This is the absolute truth! Here constituency services consists of hating America and holding workshops to teach her moron voters how to fill out financial aid forms. Period.
I did a sales call at the Tupac thing about 4 years ago. A lady called up and said she was starting a new business. I went out, she introduced herself (Not the same name), then told me what it was all about. Now, a year or so before he was dispatched (A good gang land murder?), he and or some of his pussy flunkies shot 2 friends of mine (Both police officers) from high school. This was at the corner of Peachtree Street and 10th. The reason? The were walking through the intersection when his limo careened through it. They yelled, and the pussies got out shooting guns. The best part about that...those two boys would destroy that little pussy and his band of pussies in seconds. Yeah, Tupac...forgot about that piece of shit. I believe the mom teaches like Marxism/hate whitey classes at the Atlant University Complex. I kindly informed her that her son was a piece of shit, I was glad he was dead, and she could stick it up her ass. My boss thought it was pretty damned funny when she called to get me fired.
