Moonbattery at Its Ugliest
Green Beret Sgt. Daniel Petithory was killed in Afghanistan in December, 2001. He was one of America's first combat deaths in the campaign to flush al Qaeda and the Taliban out of that country in response to the 9/11 atrocities that had occurred less than 2 months previously. Moonbats have acknowledged Petithory's ultimate sacrifice to preserve their liberty by vandalizing a sign indicating that a nature trail through his Massachusetts hometown has been dedicated to his memory.

"Oil" and "Christian Crusade" were scrawled on the sign. An anti-military dig favored by the likes of Bill Maher — that our troops are uneducated and/or not very bright — was also included, as was at least one potshot at the President.
Petithory's parents have tried to avoid a more sophisticated means of undermining the War on Terror and defacing the memories of those who have died in it by no longer reading newspaper editorials or watching TV news shows. But moonbattery will find a way to make itself heard. Take away their cameras and newspapers and many in the media would probably find themselves reduced to scribbling nasty graffiti on dead soldiers' memorials.

O, the burning, irredeemable shame. Kol Hakavod to this brave young man, and may G-d erase the names of those ugly cowards who place their "dissent" on a higher plane than human decency and respect.
Thanks for naming and showing a picture of this unsung hero.

Absolutely disgusting, but sadly, it's hardly surprising.
The left's tactics haven't changed a bit in 30-plus years, but fortunately, the conservatives have, as is witnessed by the new media. As a result, the moonbats' thuggery isn't nearly as effective as it once was, much to their petulant chagrin.

If any of the moonbats that committed this heinous act are reading this, you need to know that this is the same location I use for target practice with my new Marlin 1895. It shoots .444 claibers that can take down a 1500 lb polar bear. It would make a human head explode like a watermelon. Just thought you might like to know that.

I don't agree with the idea of vandalizing anything that is in memoriam to any of our brave men and women who have been killed by President Bush in Iraq.
But I do understand the frustration that is out there.
And I maintain that, except for a few deluded cowboy types, the soldiers know that we in the peace movement are the ones who are on their side.
They KNOW the war is for oil. They KNOW the Bush Crime Family made them into cannon fodder.

moonbat supreme -- I am in the military and let me assure you that we KNOW NO SUCH THING that your type is on our side. What we KNOW is that you and your ilk degrade our purpose of defending liberty and America's cause of liberty throughout the world and you demoralize those whom you claim to support by not being able to comprehend OUR VERY EXISTENCE--as one who would lay down their lives in support of a noble country and cause, such as the United States of America. No my country isn't perfect, but where else in the world is there even the chance of improvement such as we have seen in this great "experiment" that our founding fathers started not so long ago. Evidence the nearly 75% support of military personnel for President Bush in the last election as to what we in the military understand and KNOW! Unlike you, I will fight and die for your right to disagree with me---and have offered myself in this great cause for almost 20 years now, my fellow American.

My deepest sympathy to the family of this fallen hero who have to endure this kind of uncalled for, unjustified by any stretch of imagination attack. May God bless them, and may God bless our troops and this great country.

As I said, there's a small percentage of hawks on every mountaintop.
But that's not what I'm hearing from the guys who are actually there (and not part of the propaganda machine).
I'm hearing that they hate this war, and they hate this president.

I'm hearing no such thing in the San Francisco gay bars I frequent. Then again, it's hard for me to hear in those places, if ya get my drift...

The peace movement is patently un-american and anti-soldier. Look at what attended the last round of protests. Communists and Socialists. None of these people like freedom or America. I don't care what you say in protest of that last statement, history speaks louder than you.

Not really, violence.
The Bush Crime Family hates America, hates life, and hates the fighting men and women of this country so much, that they were willing to send them out into battle without battle armor or armed vehicles. They set up evac procedures from theater to Ramstein to insure that anyone injured was whisked away from the field of battle to die in transit in the air, so as not to have to be bothered to pay combat benefits to their families.
They cut their benefits so if they required brain surgery, it was not covered (and I don't think I've ever seen any conflict where so many guys came home permanently injured and disabled, all the more better to stifle them, so they can never reveal what they saw).
Any active member will, quite simply, be court-martialed if they speak out, and their families will be ostracized and persecuted at home.
The proof is in the pudding. You should pull yourself out of your abusive marriage to a failed ideology, to which you cling just so you can vote for someone with an "R" behind their name, and open your eyes to what the vast majority of Americans realize is going on.

You used to have to search out this kind of frothing kookery, but now these loons parade amongst us openly.(The hippies destroyed that healthy sense of shame which made people reluctant to draw negative attention to themselves in public. For this and many other transgressions I encourage you to find one and beat his ass today.)
This drivel is so over the top that the sane and rational reader can't help but laugh. The 'Bush Crime Family' is my favorite. It's the traitor's favorite toy from his Marxist bag of tricks, and he is never so happy as when he's winding it up and watching it go. Why, all it needs is a few bug-eyed aliens and the Illumanati and you'd have a half-baked conspiracy theory even Michael Moore could throw his substantial bulk behind! Well, keep the Laffs comin', fellas, and remember to whip yourselves up into a crackpot frenzy for the entertainment of reasonable people everywhere!

Anyone else feel like somebody with skills should do a South Park-type "This is what moonbats actually believe" animated web-movie? It could include stuff like:
1. Moonbats believe Bush did not actually win the 2000 election, but was appointed by the Supreme Court.
2. Moonbats believe that Saddam never possessed WMD, and that Iraq was an idyullic paradise of kite-flying children before the US invaded.
3. Moonbats believe that the WTC was destroyed by controlled demolition, and the Pentagon was hit by a missile.
4. Moonbats believe Bush lost the 2004 election, but that evil programmers at Diebolt programmed the machines to give him a victory.
4a. Moonbats, however, believe that Christine Gregoire was legitimately elected governor of Washington state.
5. Moonbats believe that all terrorism results from the US invading Iraq.
6. Moonbats believe that Osama bin Laden is the world's only terrorist, and capturing him and giving him a full, fair trial under ACLU guidelines will end terrorism forever.
7. Moonbats believe it is wrong to wiretap the phonecalls of known al Qaeda operatives.
8. Moonbats believe the MSM is controlled by conservatives.
9. Moonbats believe that treating captured terrorists to anything less than 4-Star Spa Treatment is torture.
10. Moonbats believe Bush created Hurricane Katrina, then aimed it at New Orleans to exterminate black people and colorful gay urbanites.
11. Moonbats believe that OJ. Michael Jackson, and Mumia are innocent, the Dan Rather memo's were really, and the only news source you can trust is The Daily Show.
12. Moonbats beliebe Barbara Boxer is a pillar of intellect and Ted Kennedy has moral authority.
13. Moonbats don't believe that Cindy Sheehan is a dim-witted, America-hating media whore.
I'm sure there's more.

Posted by: suze at March 26, 2006 3:28 PM
Moonbats not only believe that the dead talk, but that all are card-carrying Democrats.
Moonbats believe discriminating against Muslims is wrong, but disciminating against Christians upholds the First Amendment.
Moonbats believe the Second Amendment describes the military, but that the Ninth and Tenth Amendments cover everything from abortion to gay marriage.
Moonbats believe it's only "dirty money" when it Republicans receive it (aka Harry Reid refusing to part with the money he got through Abramoff's buddies)
Moonbats believe illegal immigration is okay, but "exploiting" those immigrants is wrong.
Posted by: Targetpractice, Worst of Both Worlds at March 26, 2006 4:37 PM
Target, I honestly didn't understand the first point.
I don't think discriminating against ANYONE on the basis of religion is wrong (I am in agreement with our founding fathers, rather than wingnuts on that one).
I also believe that you're free not to be religious if you so choose.
I believe in policies that work, and in justice. Therefore, I support a woman's right to choose, marriage equality, and the right to participate in an organized militia that is not exploited and send their boys off to invade an unarmed sovereign nation, and in turn be slaughtered by insurgents.
I believe the Republican Party is filthily corrupt from bottom to top, and so inept and incompetent at the business of governing that they must never be permitted to gain power again, ever, and that they must be prosecuted and punished for their crimes against humanity (and me).
I believe that illegal immigration is wrong, because it is (attention, wingnuts, new definition) ILLEGAL, and we should not continue permit the Bush Administration to evade their responsibilities in refusing to enforce borders and established immigration laws.
If the Bush Crime Family feels so fervently that Mexican and other illegal immigrants are the answer to all of our labor problems, well, then, let them go through the courts and amend our existing laws, with all the consequences that will come with that.
But hold them accountable (for once) for what they have done, and, well, maybe the last American, conservative, liberal, or whatever, could remember to bring the flag on the way out?

Nice thing about living on the west coast...
Dipshits can't wake up to their own idiocy.
Posted by: HollywoodNeoCon at March 27, 2006 1:14 AM
Well, my first point deals with the fact that St. Sheehan has claimed more than once that she can talk to Casey and that he supports her. The second half to that deals with the fact that one of the time-honored traditions of the Democratic Party is to shore up their vote numbers with names of dead people.
My second point deals with the fact that the ACLU, which moonies are always so quick to defend, has a track record of attacking Christian organizations or organizations with Christian backgrounds (such as the Boy Scouts of America) while ignoring Muslim groups who pull similar stunts. Such as their victory last year that now prevents the US Army from providing land or assistance to Boy Scout Jamborees, but their utter silence about the Army Corps of Engineers leasing out land for the construction of a Muslim youth camp.
My third point is that moonies see the NRA's assertion that the Second Amendment protects private gun ownership as ludicrous, as it gives the right to a "militia", which they interpret as the military. However, they turn around and play fast and loose with the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, getting any shody law passed on the flimsy arguement that the right is protected by the two mentioned amendments.
My fourth point is about the fact that, during the entire Abramoff "scandal," the Democrats demanded the Republican party return whatever money they received through either Jack or his buddies. Yet any Democrat asked to follow the Republican lead refused on the grounds that the money they received was "clean" and only the money Republicans received was "dirty."
And my fifth point is about the fact that the Democrats have, as a whole, either ignored the immigration problem or even encouraged it. Exhibit A would be the recent grandstanding by the party's unofficial front-runner for 2008, Shrillary, whose belief is that outlawing illegal immigration is not only wrong, but also against Christian scriptures.
And Moonie, seriously, enough with the "Bush Crime Family" horseshit. While it may score you points over at The Daily Kos or Democratic Underground, it just makes you look like an idiot here. You wanna be taken seriously, then act like it. If you wanna be an asshole and act like a troll, then I'm sure Van Helsing would be more than happy to ban your ass.

I believe in policies that work, and in justice.
So, naturally, you support a party that wants to enact socialism, HillaryCare, and affirmative action.

Simple. Additional repressive legislative tactics that surpass even the "Patriot Act" are on the horizon, that will facilitate the transfer of dissidents to detention without even the pretense of evidence or fair trial.
This is why conservatives that are fleeing the GOP in droves tend to favor the libertarian movement, rather than the Democrats, whose mentality they still disdain. They at least see that the intentions of the founding fathers are being trampled, they are disgusted and disaffected, but still wish to be part of the dialogue.

Prove it. Cite the pending legislation. Show us a draft.
These camps you're talking about, they wouldn't be the same death camps that Chuck Harder was talking about back in 1995? You know...the ones that Clinton was building to dispose of patriots, Christians, and "surplus population" when he and Hillary invited the UN to take over the country? The ones you can find by following the color-coded markings on the backs of interstate routing signs? I always wondered what happened to those...

Hillary and Bill invited the UN to take over their benwah balls? As long as they leave mine the hell alone, it's all good.
Posted by: moonbat supreme at March 27, 2006 10:09 PM
That's what the tinfoil hat brigades believed back in the day. The first step towards this purported UN takeover of the country was supposedly the ceding of ownership of various national parks to the UN as "UN Biosphere Preserves". The thinking (I mean "thinking") was that these parks would be closed to the public as a "preservation" measure, the UN would slowly and quietly mass their international troops in the parks, and then at the appropriate time, Bill and Hill would declare a national emergency and assume dictatorial powers with the Blauhelm Sturmkommandos as their enforcers.
No foolin' -- people actually believed this stuff. Just like you and your fellow moonbats believe the gibberish about 9/11 being an inside job, concentration camps in nearly every state, etc. etc. etc.
And here's a new one for you to chew on, supremo: New Orleans gossip has it that the barge that may have broken the levee was owned by...wait for it...wait for it...yes, none other than Halliburton!!! (Unless of course it was dynamited by Special Forces who then "disappeared" a hundred or more NOPD cops.)
Posted by: prince of leaves at March 27, 2006 11:08 PM
Prince, the New Orleans story is an old one, and there may actually be elements of truth to it, although, ultimately, no one is sure if anything can be proven, or if it makes any difference to anyone anyway, with everything else that's going on.
Is the UN angle more subterfuge for continued Kofi Anan whining, smoke and mirrors, or was it just a prelude to it?
Posted by: moonbat supreme at March 27, 2006 11:40 PM
The barge story was a new one to me -- quite surprised I haven't seen it before. It's perfect.
The UN thing had nothing to do with Kofi Annan, who wasn't even the Pooh-Bah of Turtle Bay at the time. I was simply dredging up some classic tinfoil-hat loopiness about "concentration camps" as a mirror to your own.
Posted by: prince of leaves at March 27, 2006 11:52 PM
