Moonbats Protest Pruning Trees

Posted by Dave Blount at March 27, 2006 9:23 AM

"The cause is just!" proclaimed Howard Skwer of PlantAmnesty, a Seattle group that has been hounding local officials and waving placards at motorists as part of a campaign to "end the senseless torture and mutilation of trees and shrubs." Skwer and his friends have been accosting drivers on Highway 99 in nearby Lynnwood, holding up banners and brandishing signs with messages like "Let the Trees Grow" and "Stop Topping Trees."

"This is a crime against nature," announced a PlantAmnesty member named "Ox," referring to some pruned trees. He had stalks of bamboo strapped around his waist that rose far above his head. "Whoever did it ought to be strung up. Why do we need to have tree circumcision in this town? It's not therapeutically indicated."

It sounds like Thorazine might be therapeutically indicated. But that's hardly unusual where moonbats are concerned.
