Carter Sides with Dictatorships Against USA on Human Rights

Whether or not Jimmy Carter was the worst President in American history may still be in dispute, but as worst ex-President, he has proven once again that he has no competition — not even from the appallingly irresponsible Bill Clinton.

John Bolton's noble contributions toward draining the sewer known as the UN Human Rights Commission and replacing it with a more credible Human Rights Council have drawn Jimbo's ire by violating promises that Carter — who apparently believes that he still represents the United States in some meaningful capacity — has made to the ruthless dictators of certain totalitarian hellholes like Cuba.

He tried arm-twisting Condoleezza Rice into reversing US policy. Unsurprisingly, this did not meet with success. So Carter resorted to his habitual tactic of encouraging foreign leaders not to cooperate with American efforts to make the world a more livable place.

Here's what our former President had to say to the Council on Foreign Relations:

My hope is that when the vote is taken, the other members will outvote the United States.

Even the New York Times and Washington Post support Bolton's position regarding the Human Rights Council, but not Carter, whose moral barometer seems to have been calibrated using the most basic moonbat principle: America is bad, its enemies are good.

You used a picture that is far too flattering.

You needed to use the Cindy SheeHag alter ego photo:

Jimmy's True Face

Jefferson Davis has more class than Jimmy Carter.

Still say get Jimmy to build Habitat for Humanity houses in Gaza. Arabs move in. Arabs launch attacks and are killed. Israelis bulldoze. Jimmy goes back and builds again. Repeat. Should keep Jimmy busy.

Poor, pathetic Jimmy Carter. I could almost feel sorry for him....

In 1976 the Democrats were so sure that whoever they nominated would be elected that they couldn't agree on any of the faction leaders, so they compromised on Carter. Consequently Carter arrived in DC without any allies EVEN IN HIS OWN PARTY. No wonder he's such a rump kissing poltroon.

It's a pity that the tradition has grown up that ex-presidents don't run for any lesser office. If Carter had gone back to being Governor or Georgia (a job he apparently handled fairly well, once), maybe he wouldn't be running about the globe playing Buttinski Without Portfolio, trying to get the adulation he didn't receive as President.

I understand the President Bush has considered formally naming Carter the National Disgrace, but there's a faction in his staff that feels the title should go to Ted Kennedy.
