Mother Moonbat Sounds Retreat in Germany

Lately Germany has been fertile ground for moonbattery — yet there have been encouraging signs that a change could be in the air. The election of Angela Merkel was one. Another is the counterprotest that was planned against Cindy Sheehan, who has taken her traveling circus to Europe to harass and demoralize our troops there.
The Ditch Witch had planned a demonstration outside Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Ramstein Air Base on March 11. German writer Stefan Prystawik organized opposition to this tasteless stunt.
"First of all, it's completely inappropriate to instrumentalize the troops here particularly, and above all, those who have suffered severe injuries and are at the hospital," said Prystawik. "They are coming here with an attitude to deliberately demoralize troops who just got back or are going to go back [to Iraq]."
Now it seems that Mother Moonbat is sounding the retreat. Amid a bunch of blather about the "industrial military complex," she seems to be calling off the Code Pink–style hospital assault. As Prystawik puts it:
Her handlers have decided that mocking wounded soldiers might not play too well even in our one party media.
Could it be that the world's tolerance for this wretched woman is starting to wear a little thin?
