Black Betty Banned
The song "Black Betty" — written by the legendary blues singer Huddie "Leadbelly" Ledbetter, and made into a hit in 1977 by Ram Jam — was used for about a decade to rally University of New Hampshire hockey fans. But no more; you see, it has been revealed that the song is "theoretically racist." It has now been banned.
The ban might be repealed though, if someone could convince the mullahs of political correctness at UNH that the song is actually about illegal drugs.
