Another European Leader Volunteers For Dhimmitude

Irish President Mary McAleese was in Riyadh today, condemning the publication of the innocuous cartoons that Muslims have been exploiting to browbeat the West into abandoning the principle of freedom of speech.

Chides McAleese:

We abhor the publication of those provocative cartoons, they were designed to provoke, they were designed to be rude, they were designed to inflame, they did all of those things.

Obviously the willing dhimmis who take this line are playing right into the hands of the Muslim rioters and their sinister puppeteers in Iran and Syria by falsely admitting that publishing the cartoon constituted some sort of offense.

Apparently feeling that the flames weren't burning brightly enough, McAleese splashed them with more gasoline:

Muslims have every right to feel angry.

Naturally she also mouthed the usual platitudes about abhorring violence, as if unaware that validating the pretext for the violence is hardly likely to put an end to it.
