A Dark Day in Chicago
Police unsurprisingly are not very enthusiastic about the proposal to rename a Chicago street after Fred Hampton, a Black Panther leader who advocated violence against police officers.
Mark Donahue, President of the Fraternal Order of Police, said it is a "dark day" when Chicago sees fit to honor a character like Hampton. However, Alderman Madeline Haithcock, who sponsored the measure, asserts that the Black Panthers — an organization devoted to violent hatred of Caucasians — deserve honors because they fought against "racism."
Look forward to convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal having an airport named after him once his richly deserved execution takes place — assuming he doesn't die of old age first.

convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.
Our large cities are going the way of third world countries, in more ways than names only.
