Murtha Confirms His Treasonous Intent
If there was any confusion as to whether John "Moonbat Jack" Murtha actually wants the USA to be defeated by terrorists in Iraq, or whether he is just a profoundly deranged individual who thinks you win wars by tucking your tail between your legs and "redeploying" to someplace far away, Murtha himself has now cleared it up.
Here's what Moonbat Jack had to say at a meeting promoted by the rabidly anti-American MoveOn.org, as quoted in NRO:
I worry about a slow withdrawal which makes it look like there's a victory when I think it should be a redeployment as quickly as possible and let the Iraqis handle the whole thing.
In other words, when we surrender, we need to be very sure that everyone knows we lost. That way, maximum damage can be inflicted on President Bush. Maximum damage will also be inflicted on the reputation and foreign policy of this country, on the morale of our troops, and on the people of Iraq, but that's no concern of Murtha's. Maximum momentum will be given to the worldwide Islamic terror movement, but apparently Murtha doesn't think that concerns him either.
Although he is certainly a fool, that does not excuse his actions — because Murtha is just as certainly a traitor.
Moonbat Jack was joined at this particular display of treasonous moonbattery by the equally objectionable Rep. Jim Moran, best known for declaring the war in Iraq to be the nefarious handiwork of Jooos.
"If it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war with Iraq we would not be doing this," Moran has opined. "The leaders of the Jewish community are influential enough that they could change the direction of where this is going and I think they should."
After Murtha had crawled back under his rock, Moran remained at the podium a little too long. Not all of the audience were glazed-eyed MoveOn.org Kool-Aid–guzzlers. A few vets were present, and they were not appreciative of the knives vermin like Murtha and Moran have been sticking in the back of the military.
Vietnam vet Louis C. Wagner noted that traitors have been benefiting terrorists in Iraq just as a past generation of fifth-columnists benefited communists in Vietnam, and read from a letter a friend had written to Murtha — the friend's son had been killed that very day. The Mudville Gazette quotes General Wagner:
"Although my son would surely" — and this, incidentally, this is the one that was killed today — "would surely prefer to stay home with his wife and four young children" — from 10 to 2, I'm adding that — "he is both a soldier and a scholar, he understands that we are in a vital long term struggle against a dangerous ideology, and he is willing to make the necessary sacrifices to defeat it. It is a difficult struggle and will require patience and fortitude both on and off the battlefield. If we lose our will at home, it makes the task for our soldiers all the more difficult. I believe your comments were irresponsible and are contributing to the loss of national will. If they were made to obtain political advantages I would find that abhorrent and unworthy of a former Marine."
Sir, I'm mad. Because that is happening every day when I read the newspapers. I visit Walter Reed, and talk to the young soldiers with their legs blown off. I know you do too.
I can't find one in a dozen that don't believe that they are fighting for a noble cause and are fighting to go back. And I think it's a disgrace when members of our congress, just as they did in 1975 when they sold out the South Vietnamese, are selling out our soldiers today in Iraq.
Thank you sir.
There was no applause from Murtha's and Moran's cave full of moonbats. But outside of caves full of moonbats, there ought to be very little applause for the treasonous opportunism of Moonbat Jack and his sidekick Moran, no matter how the press may try to spin these creeps as heroes.

Anyone know when these 2 ass-clowns are up for re-election? Are they facing credible opposition? One can only hope....
