Mother Moonbat Threatens Feinstein
Thank you Mother Moonbat for your best efforts on behalf of the lunatic Left to pull the Democratic Party ever farther out on a limb that is starting to crack. Her latest contribution to the marginalization of this once formidable party — threatening Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) for not agreeing to filibuster the obviously qualified Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court.
Feinstein has already adopted a position that most people could probably agree is unreasonable: she admitted that Alito is qualified, but promised to vote against him anyway because he is considered a conservative. In a Democracy, if the people want conservatives on the bench, they elect a conservative president to appoint them. Since this is exactly how Alito came to be appointed, Feinstein is basically admitting to trying to circumvent the democratic process by voting against him.
But even Feinstein has acknowledged that Democrats have no grounds for stalling the nomination. This won't do. Hanoi John Kerry got in line with the Michael Moore/Cindy Sheehan contingent by trying to phone in a filibuster from a posh resort in Switzerland. Feinstein had better follow suit — or else.
Speaking from Venezuela, where she is visiting at the expense of a hostile regime in order to propagandize against her own country, Sheehan declared that if Feinstein doesn't support a filibuster, the Ditch Witch herself will run against her this November.
Well, why not? Even the allegedly right-wing Chris Matthews thinks Mother Moonbat should run for Congress. And it's not as if we've never had a treasonous individual in the Senate before.

Judging by what I've read, she'd fit in there perfectly.

I'm sure Senator Feinstein is just a'quakin' in her shoes at the prospect. Actually, it might be a good thing, as perhaps enough votes could be siphoned off so that the Democrats would lose yet another Senate seat!

Significant popular support for a Muther Sheehan run for ANY political office would be a tremendous boon to the conservative cause, with the potential of drawing lunatic fringe support away from "mainstream" Democrats. Heaven forbid, a presidental run in '08?!? Would God be so kind? The Nader Effect, in the body of a frumpy she-moonbat.
In fact, I might send her some money.

Talk about nut cases... any of you fools still supporting and worshiping your Dubya...
I know plenty of soldiers who cannot wait to come back and kick your neorepublican, cowardly asses...you know who you are. You cowards who claim to support war, but have no intention of fighting one.
Your president is a liar, a law breaker and so are those who support him. Watch and learn, sheep...maybe next time you will learn to think for yourselves. But I doubt it.
Cindy Sheehan kicks your asses with the truth, which is why you feel free to beat up on a dead soldiers' mother.
Read the Constitution instead of Drudge-you too would know you support a president who thinks he is above the law. He isn't, then you will all understand why the Germans pretended not to notice the slaughter of Jews and others. You folks are just like they were-you will live in your shame forever when Bush goes down...I had the sense to know when I was being lied too...

I am rooting for Mother Moonbat all the way!! Let's see if she can carry this momentum into the 2008 elections!
I smell victory for the Republicans!

Hey, CA, I wanted to join the RAF as a cargo or combat pilot back in '03, but they failed me because of an old shoulder injury. If I'd got in I would have been out there right now, fighting this war. Think about that before you go accusing everyone of supporting a war they've no intention of fighting. I had every intention, so stuff it, you little fuckwit. Drop dead.

Cindy and Hugo two love birds- She can use this photo when she runs of office. Im sure it will leave an impression on the voters.

No one in the media even addresses the fact Cindy the Traitors family has all but disowned her. Imagine this hag being your Mom.

I not only hope Cindy runs, but that she ends up winning. What more evidence would the American people need that the Democratic Party has gone over the deep end than this psycho bitch getting elected and accepted by the party?
And before the moonbats start up again with the "but she's a grieving mom!" routine, that's been bullsh*t since Day One. The only time this woman shows concern for her son is when it's time to cry on camera about how he was "murdered" by Bush. There are plenty of people out there who can cry on command, only we on the Right call them "actors."

I have to go with Targetpractice on this one. Only watching Cindy win would give us more blogfodder than watching her run - and although I would feel momentarily sorry for anyone forced to live in a state that elected her, that moment would pass when I considered (1) the fact that they did, in fact, VOTE for her and (2) the fact that any Republican who can fog a mirror should be able to defeat an incumbent Mother Sheehan almost without campaigning. Not only this, but the fallout from that disastrous term of office should be enough to convert at least ten other states from blue to red almost immediately.

HELP! I'm trapped in this alternate reality where Cindy Sheehan's opinion actually matters!
Posted by: phil at January 30, 2006 3:29 AM
It only matters to people like Capt. America--rational, intelegent folks are just gently amused.
