Marion Barry Robbed By His Fellow Criminals

Marion "The Bitch Set Me Up" Barry, the former DC Mayor with a weakness for crack cocaine and girlie bars, who was reelected after doing 6 months in prison on drug charges, was recently held up at gunpoint in his own apartment.
The assailants knew who they were robbing, which hurt Barry more than the $200 they stole.
"There is a sort of an unwritten code in Washington, among the underworld and the hustlers and these other guys, that I am their friend," Barry complained.
But despite the betrayal, Barry has "no animosities" toward the hoodlums who robbed him, promising, "I will do all I can to advocate non-prosecution" for the crime.
Fortunately for Barry this incident turned out better for him than an earlier run-in with violent lowlife; he was shot in the chest when a Muslim group took over city hall in 1977.
Barry being Barry, he is still in trouble with the law himself; he is soon to be sentenced on tax evasion charges.
