Did Rosenbergs Carry a Moonbat Gene?

Here's a little follow-up on the leftist "civil rights" groups suing the government for snooping on their terrorist friends, via The American Thinker, on a tip from Byron.

One of the plaintiffs in the suit is Rachel Meeropol. You might remember her grandparents: Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. You know, the two who helped Stalin get the bomb, with the general idea it would help Uncle Joe wipe out all of us nasty capitalists.

Meeropol is Vice President of the New York Chapter of the communist National Lawyers Guild.

Unfortunately moonbattery is one disease that does not skip generations. Rachel's dad is Robert Meeropol. As Sweetness & Light notes:

Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Meeropol is an avowed Communist supporter. He cites Fidel Castro as his boyhood idol. He supports convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. And he is the founder and Executive Director of the ultra radical Rosenberg Fund for Children.
Unsurprisingly, Mr. Meeropol is also adamantly opposed to the War On Terror.

The collapse of the Soviet Union put an end to dreams of communism destroying America. Too bad for the Left that Stalin never got around to using his nukes on us. Maybe they'll have better luck with their new Islamic friends. Of course, if the terrorists are going to kill Americans by the millions, they could use a little help from within — which "civil rights activists" are only too happy to provide.
