Dem Tire Slashers Claim Their Own Party Framed Them

Five Democratic activists in trouble for slashing the tires of Republican get-out-the-vote vans on election day in 2004 allege that the once-respectable Democratic Party "set them up to take the fall."

Their lawyers have told the Milwaukee jury that the dirty work was actually done by Democratic "professional political operatives," who then pointed the police toward the defendants, who include Sowande Omokunde, the son of Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI), and Michael Pratt, the son of Democratic former Milwaukee acting mayor Marvin Pratt. All of the defendants were paid workers for Hanoi John Kerry's presidential campaign.

Omokunde's lawyer Robin Shellow claims the operatives "came to Wisconsin as it became apparent that Wisconsin was in play," and slashed the tires out of loathing for Republicans and President Bush. According to Shellow, the outside consultants "believe the fight is for legitimate democracy, and they're passionate."

However, there seems to be a good case against the locals. Assistant DA David Feiss told the jurors that they allegedly showed up at Democratic headquarters "dressed in 'Mission Impossible'-style clothing and bragged about what they had done." Defendant Lavelle Mohammad has been quoted as boasting, "We got 'em. We got 'em good."

Whichever group of Democratic thugs expressed their passion for "legitimate democracy" by slashing the tires, the 25 vans they disabled in a lot adjacent to a Bush campaign office were intended to help people get to the polls to vote. Amusingly, moonbats have tried to justify vandalizing vehicles on the fictitious grounds that it is Republicans who suppress votes.

Don't you know? That's the Left's justification for everything: "They're doing it too, I'm just leveling the playing field." Regardless of what they do, they're sure the Right Wing is also doing it.

The only diffence comes when money's involved. Then what the other side does is irrelevant. For example, Republicans left and right have been giving back donations received through funds associated with Abramoff. By contrast, Harry Reid has said he refuses to give back the money he received because it's the Republicans who are at fault.

Meanwhile, at the Alito Hearings, Mrs. Alito cries, And moonbats respond with their usual level of class

Mrs. Alito cries once, either as a tactical move, or because she realized that her husband may actually not get to be on the supreme
court, and now she has your "great sympathy." how partisan of you. no one even attacked her -- if kennedy had called her a slut, that woud
be something, but not even that happened. :)

she was crying, assuming it was genuine, out of sheer terror, possible disappointment and frustration that these jerky liberals won't let her extremist husband control people's lives from the highest bench there is. why does that deserve "great sympathy" more than a myriad other people?
Sorry, lady, crying is BS. Don't go to the hearings if you're going to cry, or don't expect sympathy for it.

I imagine worse is being tossed around at the DUMB and Kostardistan.

Meanwhile, Dipwad Reporters Blame Republicans for making Mrs. Alito cry

Even so, Biden still walked away from Wednesday's hearing with better press than than his colleague, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who made Alito's wife cry.

Jennifer Brooks, you are an ignorant shill. Mrs. Alito cried because Lindsey Graham was kind enough to apologize for the behavior of the Democrats on the committee. He was *comforting* her, you stupid biyatch. That line, while technically accurate, is completely misleading.
