While Muslims Slit Throats, Moonbats Fret Over Christians

The murder of Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh — who was shot and stabbed before having his throat slashed for offending Islamic sensibilities — has resulted in the arrest of 14 Muslim fanatics. At their trial on Monday, the court heard a statement by Malika Chabi, the wife of one of the defendants, Nouriddin El Fatmi, aka Fouad. According to al Reuters (H/T LGF), the statement included this:

A throat must be cut from the front, but not entirely so there is maximum suffering. Fouad said this while a film was shown on which people were beheaded.

According to Chabi, he also said that the group should drive a car carrying explosives into a shopping center to die as martyrs. This suggestion was washed down with verses from the Koran.

Are you wondering why this is news? It's not news. These days psychos like El Fatmi are as common as cockroaches.

Fortunately, some people are aware of the growing danger of religious extremism. Unfortunately, they're worried about the wrong religion.

The Washington Times reports on a meeting between Abraham Foxman, National Director of the Anti-Defamation League, and Rabbi Eric Yoffie, President of the Union for Reform Judaism. The topic: what to do about Christians.

"Their goal is to implement their Christian worldview," Foxman warns. "To Christianize America."

Whenever hysterical fools start panicking for all the wrong reasons, Nazi comparisons are sure to start flying:

"We understand those who believe that the Bible opposes gay marriage, even though we read that text in a very different way," Rabbi Yoffie said. "We cannot forget that when Hitler came to power in 1933, one of the first things that he did was ban gay organizations."

Why waste time worrying about legions of maniacs who want to slit your throat with a dull knife for being an infidel when there are people out there so downright Hitleresque as to uphold the sanctity of marriage?
