Profiles in Moonbattery: Mike Wallace

"At 87, Wallace still tells it like it is," chirps the Boston Globe, referring to Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes fame — and how it is, according to Wallace, isn't pretty.

When asked what he would ask the President if he could land an interview, Wallace's rambling response ended with this:

Why do you think they nominated you? . . . Do you think that has anything to do with the fact that the country is so [expletive] up? [ellipses in original]

That's right Myron, I mean Mike, the country is so [expletive] up, it won't listen to wise men like yourself. If only it would, we would have elected your fellow potty-mouth Kerry, and no doubt we'd be out of Iraq by now, safe and snug underneath our beds where we would be waiting for al Qaeda to come after us with who knows what kind of weapons a few years down the road.

When asked "How do you relate to contemporary media?" Wallace was more sincere, answering, "I feel as though I'm out of it."

I guess he must be, considering that he holds it to be "damned foolishness" that people regard the MSM as liberal.

Chris Wallace does a weekly segment on a local Boston talk show Fridays, and yesterday afternoon told the host that his father had "lost it"...I hadn't read the piece (it's in the Globe - duh!!!) but now I know why he said it.
