Middle East Moonbat Snatchings Continue
Useful idiots have started a new fad by traveling to the Middle East to denounce Israel, the USA, or Western Civilization in general and getting themselves "kidnapped" by the Islamic terrorists they adore. There is a fishy smell to some of these accounts, particularly the story of German moonbat Susanne Osthoff, who may have been released in exchange for a terrorist convicted of murdering an American, and whose abduction may have been staged. The latest Islamophile to get herself nabbed is British "human rights worker" Kate Burton, who managed to get her parents abducted too.
Burton had been working at the Al-Mizan Human Rights Center in Gaza. According to local security sources, she and her parents were snatched by an armed offshoot of Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas's Fatah movement.
Foreigners kidnapped in Gaza are usually released within a few hours, but not all lefties who journey to the Middle East to make nuisances of themselves and subsequently get kidnapped by the very terrorists they fawn over are so lucky. The kooks from Christian Peacemaker Teams are still missing. Moonbats traveling to the region are advised that you don't have to be as stupid as Rachel Corrie to get yourself killed.

Funny how the lefties who proclaim that there are no absolute truths are the first in the West to embrace Islam. They are incapable of embracing the truths of Christianity, but Islam's okay? I think this must be a leftover of Marxism which worships the "other" where "they" are good but we are bad because "we" are in need of a revolution. What else could it be? I know, I know, they are usually mental lightweights to begin with. Just look at what the phony Reagan is about to write:

I've noticed the trend that the jihadis have all but given up kidnapping contractors and soldiers and now are totally focused on NGO's. And, as has been pointed out, most are from moonbat groups that have denounced the war from the start.
Guess the jihadis figured out that kidnapping moonbats was its own reward. Most such groups have a few politicians in their pockets, so they can usually get the demands followed. And, if the jihadis turn around and kill their hostages, the groups will simply blame the US.

What always cracks me up is when these people dress up for such pictures they really do fancy themselves as some sort of Middle Eastern royalty and never don the Burkah or the black draperies as their costumes. While what she is wearing may be considered "traditional Palestinian garb", I've yet to see any Palestinian women running around in such clothes.
The problem with those who sympathize with these thugs is that while they struggle to bring their own country down a few notches, they secretly believe they will fare better, somehow, than those "evil aggressors" when the hammer falls because they're "sensitive". Nothing could be further from the truth.
It exemplifies a total lack of critical thinking skills.
