Democrats Lose Another Election
Whoever wins in the Iraqi elections, it's pretty clear who lost: the Democratic Party. That nefarious organization's best efforts have been insufficient to prevent the Iraqi people's steady march from tyranny toward democracy. Despite risk to life and limb, turnout was high — and now even Sunnis are taking part in the process. The violence was less than expected.
Democracy is actually taking root in Iraq. We are winning.
But I wonder how well the elections would have gone if our country followed the advice of Murtha, Pelosi, et al., and told Iraqis and terrorists alike that we planned to tuck our tails between our legs and bail out.
Iraqi voter Betty Dawisha sums it up nicely:
Anybody who doesn't appreciate what America has done and President Bush, let them go to hell.

Top 10 Moonbat Reactions to Iraqi Election
From the primary nesting site of the Lesser American Moonbat, Daily Kos. This one is typical:
These elections are nothing more than a prop for the bush thugs. No election
that was initiated, designed, engineered, and carried out by a foreign occupation power has any legitimacy, here or elsewhere. None. Period.
If Uzbekistan invaded the US, toppled the government, installed its hand-picked puppets, then ran through the motions of several rounds of voting, would the regime that resulted have any legitimacy whatsoever? Of course not. It would be laughed at.

re: the above; these people are hallucinatory. No joke.
They're like my acid-tripping friends in high school in the '70s except that my friends were nice. Even when tripping.
They are absolutely off their nuts. They're the gift that keeps on giving. I've managed to convert five, count 'em, five leftie friends just by linking them to leftie blog posts and Kerry quotes ad nauseum.
Betty Dawisha, she said it all. God bless her. I love these people.

The real winner in Iraq: Iran!
They've now got another Islamic Republic next door and have already signed military cooperation agreements.
Way to go W.

Somehow I doubt that is what the real Ronaldo Maximus would have said. What a tool.

The more rabid and insane the leftie posts the better. As vile and incredibly stupid as they are I sincerely and seriously hope they keep it up. Of my five leftie-conversion successes, three changed to registered Republicans, one to Libertarian and one to Independent; their changes of heart were out of a cumulative avalanche of embarrassment once they saw where their own party was really coming from through studying blogs and really studying lists of elected-Dem. quotes. I didn't have to say one word to them; all I did was link them. They made up their own minds.
Meanwhile . . . does garlic work against moonbats? Silver bullets? *gathers arsenal*

Seems the Democrats tried to congratulate the Iraqi people today with a House Resolution to praise them for three successful elections in one year.
But the House Republican leadership shot down the plan -- simply because it was sponsored by Democrats.
Letting politics trump praise.

For those of you who would dare call Ronald Reagan a liar, here are some links to bring your back to the conservative -- rather than neo-con -- fold:
Iran-Iraq Military Pact: https://indybay.org/news/2005/07/1751305.php
Islamic Republic:
From the Iraqi Constitution recently voted into effect in the last election:
Article 7.
A) Islam is the official religion of the State and is to be considered a source of legislation.

Yep, Iran won the election.

"here are some links to bring your back to the conservative -- rather than neo-con -- fold:"
Brilliant use of syntax. You're a complete moron.
But hey genius...
Wendy's called, they said if you show up late again for the lunch shift, you're gonna be canned. Now go make those fries.

Ah, Eric.
When confronted with facts, jump to name calling!
Good to see the old conservative playbook is still in play!
