What If Mother Moonbat Gave a Book Signing and No One Came?

Cindy Sheehan's 15 minutes certainly seem to have expired. Could it have anything to do with House Republicans calling the bluff of the irresponsible demagogue Jack Murtha, when he echoed the Sheehanistas' demand for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq?

Here's Mother Moonbat signing books for her throngs of admirers Saturday in Crawford:

An interesting turnabout on the 60's slogan, 'Suppose they gave a war, and nobody came?'

But then, all the PR-savy people she is supposed to have coaching her, must have not had their coffee in the morning- that or they have a phenomenonally displaced sense of self importance, for the timing for this event, the Thanksgiving holidays is probably as bad as the timing of a Gore speech on global warming on a bitterly cold winter day in New England.

The most satisfying picture is by far the photo of the photographers photographing She Who Would Be Photographed Among Her Supporters... Without Her Supporters.

But do shed a tear for Cindy Boo-Hoo. I insist.

I remember that movie "What if they gave a war and nobody came."

Yep Cindy, you are over-drawn at the Protest Bank; even David Duke is cavorting with the Syrians while you sit there behind a folding table, a couple of photographers chat, and no one else is about to pay homage to the woman who has 'moral authority.'

Cindy Sheehan obviously is not 'She who must be obeyed.'

What do you mean the doors are already open?

Go easy on her! Remember this is a woman that has lost a son....her dignity....her respect...her followers...and her 15 minutes. Is that her book on the table? Looks more like a pamphlet..

Speaking of the "immediate withdrawl" bluff, is it me or is the loony left now twisting things to claim that the vote "proves" *Bush* and the *Republicans* are the ones who want to "cut and run"?

I've heard Randi Rhodes actually state it a few times in the past week, and I've seen hints of it elswhere on the left as well. How flabbergastingly Orwellian, if that is their new mantra.

It's lonely at the bottom.
