Hillary Camp Attacks Children's Book
It seems Hillary is no fan of the children's book Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed! by Katharine DeBrecht. NewsMax reports that Hillary flak Philippe Reines has launched a pair of assaults on the book.
"It's not the liberal under the bed that they should be worried about," sniffed Reines, "it's the sales that are in the basement."
Actually DeBrecht's book — written in response to the plethora of leftist children's books with titles like It's Just a Plant: A Children's Story of Marijuana and No George, No: The Reparenting of George W. Bush — has been selling quite well, eliciting an angry response from moonbats, who have compared the humorous tale of a lemonade stand ruined by do-gooder liberalism to Nazi propaganda.
Not dissuaded, DeBrecht plans to turn the book into a series. Future installments will include: "Help! Mom! Hollywood Is in My Hamper!," "Help! Mom! There Are Lawyers in My Lunchbox!" and "Help! Mom! The Ninth Circuit Nabbed the Nativity!"

Nazi propaganda? And I'm sure that they fully endorse those comic-book-style leaflets that PETA distributes to kids, terrorizing children by telling them that "Daddy is evil because he tortures fish -- and would also torture puppies and kittens" or "Mommy likes to make you eat dead animals."

One of the reviews said, "It strikes me as sad that the author of this book doesn't believe children should be allowed to grow up unbiased to make opinions of their own, they should be brainwashed with propaganda like this that is cloaked "all in good fun and light-hearted laughs." It's sad to see that free thought isn't encouraged in children anymore."
I guess we should close down our public schools then. Oh, and the colleges too. And MSM, and ....

When I bought a copy of the book on-line, I noticed it was #33 among the most ordered books, while Metro vs. Retro (remember that one?) was way down in the # 300's. Guess Billary is upset that she is portrayed in the book.
BTW in today's WSJ, under book reviews, is an article about 3 children's books on Thanksgiving, which PETA would love.
