French Moonbattery Proves Impervious to Rioting

Are the French learning anything from two weeks of Muslim rioting? Apparently not, if this piece by AFP (France's answer to AP and al-Reuters) is any clue. It begins like this:
French rioters incurred the scorn of right-wingers in Internet discussion boards but also found sympathisers worldwide who blamed poverty and institutionalized racism for sparking the mayhem.
If it's not clear in this first sentence, it will be within a few paragraphs: sympathizers are good; right-wingers are bad. The worst of the right-wingers are — surprise surprise — Americans.
On a Yahoo news discussion board, mostly American contributors fired off more than 50,000 comments on a single news story about the riots — many of them filled with unpublishable invective about France and the rioters while offering such advice as: "Declare martial law, shoot to kill."
In one discussion board on the US-based Iowa Voice — complete with a Stars and Stripes in the background and a logo proclaiming to be "speaking from the heartland" — a writer identified only as Brian advised France to call in the troops.
At least AFP realizes that not all Americans are knuckle-dragging yahoos who support outmoded concepts like quelling the riots before the whole country burns down. A "Washington-based" moonbat shoveled out the following:
However evocative the label "French Intifadah," the riots fit a distinctly Gallic tradition of proletarian unrest.
So that's what the riots are all about. The Muslims have embraced French culture after all. They're acting out Les Miserables.
Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy, on the other hand, is an absolute heel for calling the poor hooligans "scum" after all they've suffered, having been lured into France to be victimized by racism, neglect, oppression, discrimination, ostracization, alienation, polarization, bowdlerization, clam-chowderization, blah blah blah.
Time is running out for the French to get a clue. The enemy isn't Americans, Sarkozy, or even "right-wingers" — it's the maniacs torching cars by the thousands, burning down churches and nursery schools, beating old men to death, and setting cripples on fire while liberals wring their hands and whimper excuses.
