A Crack in Hollywood's Wall of Moonbattery
Kudos to Bruce Willis, who is sufficiently fed up with the constant deluge of defeatist propaganda regarding the war in Iraq that he plans to make a movie that will more accurately depict what our armed forces are accomplishing over there.
The film will be based on the exploits of Deuce Four, the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry, which spent the last year getting the better of terrorists in Mosul. It will draw on the writings of blogger Michael Yon, a former Green Beret who was embedded with Deuce Four. "What he is doing is something the American media and maybe the world media isn't doing," Willis said of Yon, "and that's telling the truth about what's happening in the war in Iraq."
Willis has been to the war zone himself, and he did not see what the MSM told him he would. "I am baffled to understand why the things I saw happening in Iraq are not being reported," he told MSNBC.
Unlike many Hollywood liberals, Willis puts his money where his mouth is. He has offered a $1 million reward for the capture of any of al-Qaeda's most-wanted leaders.
Who knows, maybe Hollywood is secretly riddled with decent people who want the good guys to win this war. Maybe Willis will give them the courage to come out of the closet. Maybe I'll start going to movies again.

Back in 94 or so, I tossed Bruno from a kitchen I ran (one of a handful of Michelin 5-stars in the country) because he seemed like an asshat to come in and fawn over us while we buried alive on a Saturday night.
Who knew he was actually a stand-up guy. i might actually have to go see one of his movies again.

God bless Bruce! I am very much avoiding the current mainstream Hollywood production(s) regarding Iraq.
Say, VH, what movie is that pic from? Probably that one where Willis is a bad guy in the latter-day Wild West? I so wanted to see it but can never remember the name.

Willis is a traitor to the Right!
He's making a movie about soldiers fighting in Iraq.
We on the right are so tired of all the MSM coverage of FIGHTING.
Why isn't Willis making a movie about soldiers building schools and nursing little babies back to health?
He's only adding to the MSM view that there's fighting going on in Iraq. We on the right know it's a paradise where war is the exception.
