Robert Mugabe Bids for Nobel Prize

The Washington Times reports that Marxist dictator Robert Mugabe used a United Nations ceremony to launch into a demented diatribe in which he touched on several of the Left's favorite talking points, including accusing President Bush and Prime Minister Blair of being "international terrorists," comparing Bush to Hitler, and by extension, comparing the USA to Nazi Germany.

If only he had written down his thoughts as free verse, spiced them up with a liberal dose of four-letter words, and included some obscene sexual references, he would have put himself in line for a Nobel Prize for Literature.

As it is, he's probably on the short list for the next Nobel Peace Prize, especially in light on his other accomplishments, which include punishing people for being Caucasian by seizing their property, rigging elections, brutally suppressing dissent, and converting the "breadbasket of southern Africa" into a basket case hellhole where starvation is common.

UN delegates broke into applause several times during Mugabe's speech.
