The Domino Effect II
Posted by Dave Blount at September 22, 2005 6:49 AM
A. M. Mora y Leon has written a chilling piece on The American Thinker on the reemergence of possibly the purest distillation of evil yet devised — communism — as an aggressively expanding threat.
It seems the domino effect that left millions dead in Southeast Asia may be alive and well in Latin America. Hugo Chavez is well on his way to reducing Venezuela to another pitiful hellhole like Cuba. Now he and his role model Fidel Castro are backing a Marxist named Evo Morales who wants to do the same to Bolivia. Next in line appears to be Paraguay, which would give the totalitarian Left leverage over Brazil and Argentina. Meanwhile, Brazil is paying about as much attention as Clinton did to bin Laden.
Thank you Byron for passing along the link.
