Cool shirts, huh? Sweetness & Light saw this photo and caption on Michael Moore's website and asked what turns out to be a more interesting question: Who is Hesham Tillawi?
The answer: A paranoid nut job, whose TV program Current Issues is carried by al-Jazeera. His "dear friend" Mother Moonbat is scheduled to appear on the show September 18. For a glimpse into his mentality, here are a few excerpts from his essay, What Makes Palestinians Think They Can?:
Washington turned out to be an Israeli occupied space just like Palestine. ... The Palestinians and the Americans share the same enemy, the Zionist agenda. ... So how bad is the Zionist influence in America? Well, consider this:
He goes on to list a whole lot of Jews that he doesn't like because they support Israel, and then claims that Israel controls "over 95 Senators and all 435 members of the House except maybe 23."
Unsurprisingly, Tillawi shares Cindy Sheehan's opinion that the only reason we are fighting terrorists in Iraq is because the sinister Jews want us to, costing us "over 200 years of reputation building." Here's how he wraps up:
I would conclude by saying that the Zionists in America now are in the same position they were in back in 1948 in Palestine where they were in total control of the land but not the people. They were not interested in the people; they just wanted the land. In the case of America they are in total control of its people and resources, they are not interested in the land. They just want people to fight wars and the people's money to finance their ambitions.
The only thing I can't figure out is why the stars in our flag still have five points instead of six.

Who is jamming communications in New Orleans? Ham radio operators are reporting that communications in and around New Orleans are being jammed. In addition, perplexed ham radio operators who were enlisted by the Federal government in 911 are not being used for hurricane Katrina Federal relief efforts.
We now have a new unconfirmed report that the culprit may be the Pentagon itself. The emitter is an IF (Intermediate Frequency) jammer that is operating south southwest of New Orleans on board a U.S. Navy ship, according to an anonymous source.
