Moonbattery Set to Music

A new tune is being played on the state-controlled radio in the enlightened land of Belgium, a nation of almost totalitarian political correctness that is embracing its encroaching demise with the self-loathing passivity of a $5 whore. It's dedicated to the country that not so long ago went to considerable trouble to help Britain dig Belgium out from under the Nazis — that's right, the USA.

The song, by Raymond van het Groenewoud, is called "Weg Met Amerika" ("Down With America"). Here's how it goes:

Hamburgers and coke, yes you already knew
But do you also know the cause of the general decay?
Short-sighted thinking, loud talking
Sticking to one-liners forever
Down with America! Down with the jerks from America
Down with America! [...]

Down with American colonialism
Down with that ugly, biting English
All the Anglo-Saxon pretence, arrogance
Yes, a hot pick up their ass
And that is that [...]

I am from the Belgian, the European panel
And I ask you: “Clear my channel! Clear my channel!”
Megalomaniac unicellular idiots
Kiss my ass, yes, kiss my balls

That Continental sophistication really leaves you in awe, doesn't it? Of course, as The Brussels Journal points out, it is illegal in Belgium to incite hatred against people based on nationality. But that law only applies to those who displease the Muslims who are in the process of aggressively displacing their civilization. As for the Americans and British who prevented their civilization from being displaced a few decades ago, I guess we're on our own.

Not that we need protection from the potty mouths of infantile pop stars. But remember, Belgium has banned its most popular political party for being "racist" (i.e., for not embracing dhimmitude). So it is hard to look at Belgium and not wince at what it's deteriorating into.

There's some irony in the second line of the song quoted above. For not succumbing to decay, America is blamed for causing it. At least Belgians are aware that their civilization is decaying. If only more of them would do something about it, because they need to be strong enough to defend themselves. This time, we might not be able to save them.

Thanks to V the K for the tip.

WOW, what a post. The mouse that roared squeeks again. I'll send it to my friend in Amsterdam and tease, "Surely this must be sung in French!" Let's see what he responds...

I think you need to get a sense of humour. There seem to be two nations in the world who can't laugh at each other, one of whom is the USA.

My God...it's Herman Munster.

Carrie, exactly what I was thinking!

Bergbikr: any response yet from your Dutch pal?

Looks like one of the bad guys from "Buffy." I say we send Sarah Michelle Gellar over there to kick his wrinkly ass.

From Amsterdam comes the reply;

"Never heard of the creep. Looks like he is not francophone though."

Or we could send Buffy, a rodeo clown, and the wierd rasta-looking asian kid at the kinko's down the street to conquer the whole country.

Frankly, Herman, I'd be surprised to find out you have balls. Screw you and Leopold II. You, too, rog, for carrying water for the ball-less wonder.

Here I sit in the Eeeevul US: Love the Belgians. Especially the lambic. Not afraid to laugh at myself or my country. Deeply in love with both. A little amused that some middle-aged Herman Munster twin in a country whose name won't fit inside its boundaries on most world maps is making a few Euros singing dirty words, sniggering, breaking the law inciting hatred against a country in which he is irrelevant, yet welcome, anytime.
