But for anyone who thinks this conduct is unusual... it's not. I used to see it all the time in DC. I would bike down the mall when the loony tunes where in town. This kind of thing is an all too frequent part of the typical leftie protest.

Why take off their clothes? The human body might generally be a beautiful thing but those particular examples...
I used to take off my clothes when I wanted attention. Of course I was about 3 at the time. I grew out of it around a year later.
