Michael Moore to Cash In on Katrina Wounds

Like the odious microbes that hone in on open wounds and cause them to become infected, corrosive anti-American propagandist Michael Moore has scented an opportunity in New Orleans to sow some of the festering discord that has made him such a popular guy in today's Democratic Party. Reportedly he is planning a "documentary" that will recast the Katrina disaster so that the tragedy was not a result of incompetent local officials or even the weather, but — what else? — the sinister machinations of the Bush Administration.

Moore is quoted as telling the New York Daily News:

There is much to be said and done about the man-made annihilation of New Orleans, caused not by a hurricane but by the very specific decisions made by the Bush administration in the past four and a half years.

Here we go again.

In further bad news, it looks like Mickey is off his diet:

Great, just what we need. This idiot out spouting his BS. Gee, I didn't know that politics was in charge of the weather too!

This fella can't be for real can he? What a disgrace.

You forget to illustrate what's coming OUT of his mouth. But then again, as this seems to be a family-friendly site, that wouldn't be appropriate.

I did a search for 9/11 the other day looking for something and most of the hits were for Fahrenheit 911. I couldn't believe it (can't remember if it was Yahoo or Google). I guess his stuff sells..the P.T. Barnum of our generation.

I can't wait! More Moorishness for all the mini-Moores out there. It'll be fun to see how he blames Bush for:

- the violence in LA
- the lack of levee construction
- the failure of state planning
- the failure of municiple planning
- global warming
- racism
- lapses in FEMA
- and Katrina turning into the Gulf of Mexico instead of going back out into the Atlantic

It's amazing how that Bush gets around!

Considering what a favor Fahrenheit 9-11 was to the Bush Administration, I expect the cameras will roll as soon as Karl Rove's check clears.

I don't agree with everything Michael Moore says but I think he raises good points.

I was wondering that why are you so critical of a documentary maker who makes documentaries?

And in particular that the guy is overweight? So if you are fat then you have no valid point? I suppose Rush Limbaugh talks rubbish because he's big? Apparently 64% of Americans are overweight - does that mean they also talk rubbish?

People ridicule Moore's gluttony because it is a perfect symbol for the morbid self-indulgence that characterizes the Left.

Right - okay. So if I replace your sentence like this...

'People ridicule Rush Limbaugh's gluttony because it is a perfect symbol for the morbid self-indulgence that characterizes the Right.'

...that's proves how ridiculous and meaningless your assertion is. I thought people go on about Moore being fat is because it serves as a useful distraction from the points he is addressing and further villifies him.
