Look Out, Mr. President!

Evidently New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is not the only Louisiana Democrat to come unhinged in the aftermath of Katrina. On a tip from Wiggins, I learned that Senator Mary Landrieu threatened to punch President Bush on ABC's "This Week".

Landrieu burst into tears in the course of her performance, in which she let loose with the standard Democratic talking points regarding the President's responsibility for Louisiana's lack of preparedness for a major hurricane. NewsMax points out that one of the state officials taking heat for bungling evacuation and rescue efforts is Senator Landrieu's brother, Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu.
