European Leftists Gloat Over Katrina Dead
Last week I challenged Germans to top Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s moonbattery. They have done it in spades.
Davids Medienkritik is among my favorite blogs, and serves as ample proof that not everyone in Germany has their head so far up their ass they can see out their navel. Unfortunately, they had the sad duty to report the ravings of countryman Philipp Mausshardt, who spewed the following bile from the pages of Die Tageszeitung:
Yet joy and sympathy beat simultaneously in my chest. I am, for example, joyful at the moment that the latest hurricane catastrophe hasn't again hit some poor land, but instead the richest country in the world.
Yes, I even see in that a form of balancing justice for that which the inhabitants of that country have done to others through their war in Iraq.
I would, however, be even more happy, if I knew that only the houses of Bush voters and members of the Army had been destroyed.
Here's what makes this moonbat so joyful:

The Army whose members he would like to see face down in a sea of sewage is of course the same one that defended West Germany from Soviet invasion.
Medienkritik reports that such views are hardly uncommon in Germany these days. The hope among leftists is that Katrina can somehow be pinned on conservatives, so that people who think like they do can benefit politically.
We can't let that happen.

But, we must remember that Mausshardt is one of
the European lefties who did NOT want the US Army
to defend Germany. He, and thousands like him were
all for Soviet invasion and conquest.
He is merely expressing his deja vu angst that this
never happened.

So, basically, socialism leaves you completely without a soul or any sense of compassion for any other human being.
