Eat Fresh — Eat French

Too bad Subway dropped this ad campaign for their chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Hey, what's wrong with a little truth in advertising? With thanks to V the K.

I had a wee politcal chat in a wine shop the other day with some salesmen, regarding French wine. I ended it by conceding to try the vintage he was pouring, which was FRRRRENNNCH. After swishing, aerating, and swallowing, I said "Hmmm. Tastes like chicken." Then I bought some Australian and American wine.

While I was in Germany, I had some excellent German wine. I wonder where the Germans got the grapes for those vintages?

I thought freedom and sovereignty meant that France didn't have to agree with everything the US said.
Or using that logic - maybe US should be eternally grateful for the French for helping them out in the Revolutionary war by agreeing to anything France says.
Still invading oil-rich, pretty much reduced to a 3rd world status Iraq because of non-existing WMDs whilst China has WMDs, occupies Tibet and an appalling human rights record - really makes you into a tough guy.
