Recommended for Younger Readers

If you're having a hard time finding suitable reading material for a budding young conservative, you might have a look at Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed. Here's Amazon's description:

This full-color illustrated book is a fun way for parents to teach young children the valuable lessons of conservatism. Written in simple text, readers can follow along with Tommy and Lou as they open a lemonade stand to earn money for a swing set. But when liberals start demanding that Tommy and Lou pay half their money in taxes, take down their picture of Jesus, and serve broccoli with every glass of lemonade, the young brothers experience the downside to living in Liberaland.

The book might also make a suitable gift for liberal friends. You don't want to start them right off with Atlas Shrugged.

Thank you Wiggins for the tip.

I love Children's Books remember My Pet Goat I was rereading that one when I decided to go after the bad man in the desert. My daddy said no but I guess my strateegerry was all wrong and I had just
seen Black Hawk Down and I was all stoned and thought we should defend ourselves against these brown people over there... in... that place that has camels and giraffes and shit.
I thought that's who flew planes into the buildings on 9/11.
But noooooooo again I found out it was our family friends who did it in Saudi Arabia so I invaded the wrong country ...maybe it was the jack and cokes the night before.... but I thought we were heading into the right country right after they told me we were going after Saddam instead of Osama because our Saudi Family friends said they would jack the price of oil up if we did I decided to tell a story of mass destruction....Hell if my supporters knew I wanted to outlaw pretzels after I almost died eating they would have supported me ...I totally should have put that into the Patriot Act...oh well I can always put it in the next one when we go after another country that doesn't have anything to do with 9/11 or Saudi Arabia.

I am George W. Bush and I approved this mess.

I don't really get the book, but it makes perfect sense in comparison with the above comment.

What's interesting to me is that VH set-up this website to catalog examples of left-wingers behaving like deranged, drooling, hatred-filled, conspiracy-mongering idiots... and so far, all the lefties who've shown up have only confirmed the stereotypes.

Precisely, V the K. VH's whole premise is quite beautiful. I wonder if his brilliant mind is contemplating a spin-off site, on which he'll post moonbat comments on Moonbattery posts.

VH: if it makes you famous, please remember me in your will. :D

Oh yea, THE BOOK! I must point this out to the grandparents, they'd love to get it for the girls. The premise sounds perfect -- a great lesson for young minds in not only political awareness, but economics and social studies.

A long-awaited reaction to the tons of liberal tripe that's been passed off as "children's books" -- whether literature or school texts -- for countless decades.

Yeah, who needs books teaching kids to share, love others regardless of skin tone, be tolerant, even, dare I say,.... empathetic.

Better to teach them to hate others while having no idea why, except that their leaders said so.

Rob,

I agree. Your leader Howard Dean should stop saying he hates Republicans.
