Maurice Hinchey: Motormouth, Head Case, Congressman
Charlie Rangel had better look out behind him — his position as the most cartoonishly irresponsible Congressman to represent New York State is no longer secure. V the K passed along this link, where you can read some of the ravings of upstate's Maurice Hinchey.
According to Hinchey, Republicans, despite dominating all elective branches of government, cannot govern by the consent of the people who keep electing them. The war in Iraq has nothing to do with U.S. interests, but was initiated in order to create fear, because as the wise Hinchey inveighs, "if you can't govern by consent, you create fear. That's what this administration has done. They could never govern by consent." After all, who would have thought of fearing Islamic terrorism if Bush and his evil cronies hadn't conspired to make such a big deal about 9/11?
Hinchey's paranoid gibberish centers, unsurprisingly, on the yawn-inducing Downing Street Memo and the Rove–Plame nonstory. His "greatest hope" is that President Bush — who was elected not once but twice and has never been credibly accused of wrongdoing — be impeached on unspecified grounds.
If someone has a problem with government by consent, it doesn't seem to be Bush.

What a dork! And I thought that Canadian moonbats were simple minded and relied on illogical statements and arguements to stir up the masses. We should start a competition to see who has the dumbest moonbats.... Canada would give you a good run.
