Helen Thomas Dislikes the Taste of Her Own Medicine

It seems what's good for the goose is not good for Helen Thomas, who didn't like it when a reporter published her promise to kill herself if Cheney runs for President, thereby blowing her reputation as a clear-minded, objective journalist in the mold of Dan Rather and Bill Moyers. Drudge picked up the story and ran with it, and suddenly there is widespread support for Cheney to run, at least long enough to call Thomas on her promise.
"I'll never talk to a reporter again!" Thomas screeched, in a rare flash of wisdom.
Albert Eisele, who published Thomas' suicide promise in The Hill, noted that reporters don't like it when the tables are turned. "Nobody has thinner skin than reporters," he said with a laugh.
Thanks to V the K for the tip.
