Toronto Bans Beauty
Thank you, Canada, for providing a cautionary example of the depths of absurdity a culture might descend into if it fails to check political correctness.
The Great White North's National Post reports that the lovely Natalie Glebova — a Russian-born Canadian and the reigning Miss Universe — was banned from a festival in her hometown Toronto because being Miss Universe violates a local law against "sexual stereotyping."
Ms. Glebova was not happy about it. Neither were pageant officials.
"According to those conditions, a beauty contest cannot even be held in Toronto," observed Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe organization, as quoted by AFP.

Golly, I'm trying to get worked up about this, but I really can't get that excited about it...I know it's stupid and Toronto is being ridiculous, I know it's the principle of the thing, but if they did away with beauty pageants and bodybuilding competitions, would anybody actually miss them? Not moi...

She has declined my invitation to host her festival at my house.
Had to try...

Love a dark-hair woman with a red dress on. ...Yummy...
The Canadians are getting as freaky acting as the French.

A law against sexual stereotyping? God I hate Canada. What a womanly country.

Miss Natalie can accuse me of being a perpetuator of sexual stereotypes anytime.
