How Moonbats Celebrate the Fourth
Posted by Dave Blount at July 3, 2005 12:18 PM
The Fourth of July honors not just America, but what America represents — freedom, self-reliance, decency, the frontier spirit, technological innovation — in short, everything that makes me proud not just to be an American, but to be a human being. Even moonbats feel compelled to mark the holiday, in their own distinctive way.
Via Little Green Footballs and a tip from V the K of Caption This!, the freaks at Indymedia have declared this Fourth of July to be Flag Burning Day. The system that grants garbage-eating totalitarian "anarchists" the freedom to insult it is found by these same useless nitwits to be guilty of "imposing American corporate interests"; therefore American flags will be burned in what they hope will be "a nationally coordinated action" that will show their parents that they "completely reject the false principals [sic] this holiday is based on" — i.e., the principles listed above.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to "stay tuned to the regular channels for more information." Be sure that your tinfoil hat is equipped with an antenna for best reception when tuning in to the "regular channels."
Here's hoping the Indymedia folks can find other ways to emulate their American-hating overseas colleagues besides just setting our flag on fire:
