PETA Employees Arrested for Cruelty to Animals

Almost everyone has some redeeming quality. Take PETA moonbats. They may be wacky in the extreme, supportive of violence, and generally hostile to the human race, but at least they're kind to animals, right?

Well, not always.

HamptonRoads.com reports that two PETA employees have been arrested on animal cruelty charges when they were caught dumping dead dogs in a grocery store's garbage container. After telling veterinarians that they would find homes for orphaned animals, the PETA people would inject them with lethal drugs that they were not supposed to have and then illegally dump the carcasses.

The victims included some "very adoptable" kittens.

"Some animals have to be euthanized," said animal cruelty investigator Karen Cole. "But the way this crowd did it is sick."

PETA has suspended one of the employees, both of whom are out on bail.

Good grief! I've never liked PETA to begin with. But this one nails it right down aye?

Sounds like a ploy on PETA's behalf to help with thier public image. Pick up animals, secretly put them down, and everyone believes you have placed the animals. In my opinion, Peta is nothing more than a politcally driven group that cares little about the treatment of animals and devotes its time to the causes of the left. Like a lot of politically inclinced groups that may have once been been inspired to accomplish thier stated mission, they have taken a turn to ensuring thier politics is funded and preached to the public. On a scale of one to five, five paws down on this one.

PETA is just another left-wing scam. It's a clever scheme if you think about it. Dumb volunteers do all the grunt work (most of which is fundraising), money is taken in from dumb left-wingers with too much money, and the people at the top of the organization are well-compensated, get lots of media attention, get lauded for their compassion by dumb rich lefties, travel around the world to conferences and protests on the money they raise, all the while avoiding any real work.

The Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Amnesty International, the Human Rights Campaign, they all function on this basic model.

Political and social views aside, I would like to wish everyone a happy Fathers' Day.
